After reaching more than $180,000 in Kickstarter, Omocat has announced that the video game will also be available on Nintendo 3DS aside from its PC and Mac port versions. The trailer they revealed, which was a couple of days after New Year, finally showed more of the game, which included more cutscenes and gameplay cloaked in a vivid yet bizarre 2D world. The game was successfully funded on Jvia Kickstarter. The 2020 trailer music was written by bansheebeat (Dylan Browne) and composed by Pedro Silva. With the surprising number of backing Omocat received, they have decided to make use of the funds and bring “Omori” to better platforms. It is directed, written, and illustrated independently by OMOCAT and her TEAM, including music by SLIME GIRLS and CLOVER & SEALIFE. The Kickstarter fund for “Omori” currently has already pledged $203,300 from 5,910 backers.

But there were a lot of good Samaritans and a whole lot more that saw that the project could head on to higher levels. Omocat wanted to give “ Omori” the green light, hence they turned to Kickstarter to draw funds with a pledged goal of $22,000 to finally start the development. It has finally revealed its first new trailer for “Omori” and aside from that, the development team has revealed what they have been doing with the said game all this time. After a long time since Omocat initiated a Kickstarter fund project for “Omori”, it has finally updated its fans and backers this year with a new announcement.
